Lime Tree - 'Citrus Tuscan Lime' Lime Tree - 'Citrus Tuscan Lime'
Fragrant white flowers open from red-tinted buds throughout the summer and are followed by green limes up to 10cm long. A compact, large shrub that is best grown in a pot where it can be placed in a frost-free place in winter.

Mini Orange - 'Citrus Tuscan Tangerine' Mini Orange - 'Citrus Tuscan Tangerine'
Fabulous fragrant white flowers are produced singularly on branches throughout the summer. These are followed by medium-sized, thin skinned tangerines that separate easily into segments. A great plant for growing in a pot on a sunny patio but it will need to be moved in to a frost-free place in winter.
Calamondine - 'Citrus mitis (Calamondine)' Calamondine - 'Citrus mitis (Calamondine)'
A lovely, vigorous plant with bright green leaves and scented waxy, white flowers from spring to summer. The blooms are followed by small, spherical fruit with sweetish, thin, bright orange peel and sour flesh with few seeds. Unlike most citrus, the Calamondine orange is quite hardy and very resistant to cold but is best grown in a pot and in colder areas should be moved to a frost-free place in winter.

Fig - 'Ficus carica Brown Turkey' Fig - 'Ficus carica Brown Turkey'
This deciduous, spreading shrub with decorative, 3- or 5-lobed, mid-green leaves is best grown as against a south or south-west facing wall. In long, hot summers it will produce an abundant crop of brown, pear-shaped fruit with red flesh. These are rich and sweet and available for picking from August to September. An interesting and easy plant to grow, and is among one of the oldest fruits in cultivation.

Apricot - 'Prunus armeniaca Early Orange' Apricot - 'Prunus armeniaca Early Orange'
Reliable and the most commonly grown apricot in Europe. Grafted on strong, vigorous root stocks to provide high yeilds and an ultimate (un-pruned height) height of 8-12 feet but they can easily be kept at a height of 6-8 feet for the smaller garden, or if a more compact tree is required.
Olive Tree - 'Olea europaea' Olive Tree - 'Olea europaea'
Tiny, fragrant, creamy-white, summer flowers and grey-green leaves, retained all year. This elegant, evergreen tree makes an excellent specimen plant for a sunny, Mediterranean-style garden. In frost-prone areas it's best grown in a large container under glass or planted at the base of a sunny, sheltered wall.

Kiwi Fruit - 'Actinidia' Kiwi Fruit - 'Actinidia'
Creamy-white, early summer flowers on robust shoots covered with reddish-brown hairs, followed by delicious, greenish-brown Kiwi fruit. Ideal for training up a pergola or against a wall, even a free standing pole in a sunny position. This special variety is self fertile, meaning you do not need several plants to produce fruit, and it will start producing within a year of planting. Early ripening means fruit can be gathered before the arrival of cooler weather. It also has a more compact habit than most, a useful trait if garden space is at a premium.
Nectarine - 'Prunus persica nucipersica' Nectarine - 'Prunus persica nucipersica'
Nectarines originate from the Orient and now thrive on a commercial basis in Mediterranean areas. They do best in a sheltered sunny site in the UK. We have grown and fruited them sucessfully on the nursery without any protection, so would suggest they are well worth a go throughout the country. If grown as a fan-trained tree against a south-facing wall, they will certainly produce a large crop of delicious fruit in many areas.
Naranjilla - Lost Fruit of the Incas - Solanum quitoense Naranjilla - Lost Fruit of the Incas - Solanum quitoense
A stunning plant with huge, velvety, purple and green foliage. Grown in South America for its delicious lemony pineapple tasting fruit. Ideally grown in the UK in pots for light shade away from strong winds and over wintered in a frost free environment. The fruits are about the size of a tomato.
Citrus Tree - 'Kumquat' Citrus Tree - 'Kumquat'
Preferring a minimum winter temperature of 40ºf/5ºc at night and a little higher by day. They require plenty of light, and are great in a Conservatory. Deliciously fragrant white flowers open throughout the summer and are followed by good quality fruit. A compact, large shrub which is best grown in a pot where is can be placed in a frost-free place in winter, ideal to place outside in the summer months.
Peach - 'Prunus persica Bonanza' Peach - 'Prunus persica Bonanza'
Dwarf variety that produces numerous yellow peaches in July. A great variety for a small garden as it only reaches 1.5m (5ft) tall. Peaches can be grown successfully in most areas of Britain and can withstand the cold. However they dislike too much rain and windy areas and need plenty of heat and sun to ripen the fruit. Plant against a warm, south-facing wall for best results.
Peach - 'Prunus persica Peregrin' Peach - 'Prunus persica Peregrin'
Peach Trees originate from China and now thrive on a commercial basis in Mediterranean areas.
Peach - 'Prunus persica Sanguide de Savoie' Peach - 'Prunus persica Sanguide de Savoie'
An excellent peach with dark red flesh that comes away from the stone easily. It produces attractive flowers in mid-spring and tasty peaches in September. A reliable variety that will grow in most areas if planted against a warm, south-facing wall.
Goji Berry - 'Lycium' Goji Berry - 'Lycium' (Fully Hardy)
Originating from southwest Asia these attractive little berries are about 2cm (¾") in diameter and have a mild, sweet liquorice flavour. High in antioxidants, they contain beta-carotene, vitamins B1 and B2, minerals and amino acids and are believed, among other things, to strengthen the immune system, help eyesight, protect the liver and improve circulation, as well as to benefit the complexion. Plants are hardy and easy to grow in a sunny position.
