Christian before Dior
celebrates Dior's childhood passion for flowers and design, which
had a major influence on his couture collections and perfumes.
Dior shared his love of gardening and penchant for design with his
mother. Aged 15, Dior designed the Pool Garden at Les Rhumbs, his
childhood home in Granville, Normandy. He went on to revolutionise
the fashion world by creating the New Look in 1947. |
