handsome, evergreen shrub has fluffy clusters of
sky-blue flowers from August to October and small,
glossy, bright green leaves.It has a strong, upright
habit and is ideal for training on a sunny wall, or
for the back of a south or west-facing shrub border
or sunny wall. Although it is one of the hardier
varieties of Californian lilac, it does needs protection
from strong winds. |

dazzling spheres of tiny dark blue flowers on arching
branches among small, glossy, dark green leaves. It is
ideal for a sunny mixed border on neutral to alkaline

foil for later flowering deciduous shrubs or perennials. |

mid-spring, this spreading, evergreen shrub is an
arresting sight, smothered in dense clusters of dark
blue flowers. It makes a superb specimen plant for a
south or west-facing border among spring-flowering
bulbs, and when has finished flowering, provides an
excellent foil for later-flowering deciduous shrubs and
perennials. It needs a protected site, as the deeply
veined, dark green leaves are easily scorched by cold,
drying winds. |

Very easy to grow and care for. Ceanothus is a very
versatile garden plant and will suit almost any garden
planting scheme or situation. We are now offering them
