Chris
Collins has been gardening since he was a teenager.
He has worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and
was head gardener at Westminster Abbey for three
years. His love of gardening has even taken him as
far afield as Japan and West Africa.

Chris
was first seen on TV in 2003 fronting a gardening
show called The
Plantsman. He has just finished
filming the fourth series of Garden Rivals for UK
Style, a new series of Garden
Invaders for BBC1 and can also be
seen as the new resident gardener for Blue Peter!
Chris has presented strands from Gardener's World
Live and both Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower
Shows, all for BBC2 and has recently completed a
series on secret gardens for This Morning, ITV1.

In
addition to his presenting, Chris is currently
writing a monthly gardening column in The Londoner,
which is circulated to all London boroughs and can
often be heard as a panelist on The Matthew
Bannister Show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
