Able to grow in the UK with a little help over winter for the less hardy cultivars citrus trees are a great way of inviting something a little different into your garden. With amazing bursts of colour to brighten up any patio, an array of flowers and delicious home-grown citrus fruits these trees are simply fabulous.

Our lemon trees have glossy, dark green foliage and tiny white flowers that fill the air with the delicious fragrance of citrus blossom throughout the year, followed by fruit from late Spring to late Summer. This is an excellent variety producing large, thick skinned fruits equal in quality to those purchased from a supermarket, ideal for adding to a gin and tonic. Plants have large glossy leaves and excellent cold tolerance, making it the perfect container plant. T&M have carefully chosen a variety which is hardy and capable of surviving temperatures as low as -10C!Propagated onto 'PS' rootstock and supplied as a large specimen bush (often in fruit) in a 5 litre pot.

very easy to grow and thrives in a variety of soils and growing conditions. It is drought tolerant, but should be kept well fed and watered during the summer to ensure a good crop of fruit. The trees are largely pest and disease resistant. Semi-hardy, this plant is used to warmer climes and the evergreen foliage should be provided with extra winter protection if being grown outdoors in the UK. Either cover the plant with horticultural fleece, plant cosies or a similar product, or alternatively  bring the plant indoors and overwinter in a warm conservatory.

This grapefruit tree is very easy to grow, for best results grow in a fertile, well drained, slightly acidic soil in a sunny location where the tree is sheltered from strong winds. The tree is drought tolerant, but should be kept well fed and watered during the summer to ensure a good crop of fruit. Largely pest and disease resistant, this variety is not fully UK winter hardy so should be provided with extra winter protection or better still brought indoors if temperatures drop below freezing point.
