Window boxes, troughs and balcony pots are a wonderful way in which to grow plants, they can provide height in a garden, help to brighten up patios and balconies and can be used to complement the furniture or colour scheme of your garden. Window boxes, troughs and balcony pots can be planted up with temporary annuals for a boost of colour or used to grow tasty herbs. Trough planters can easily be made into window boxes by drilling holes in the back and mounting to the wall under windows and on walls. Adequate screws and fixings should be used due to the heavy weight the planter can gain when full and watered.

Versailles Window Box
