Spring Flower Show 2013 |
| The 2013
Cornwall Spring Flower Show will take place at
Boconnoc, nr. Lostwithiel on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7
April. We are delighted to announce that
broadcaster and horticulturalist, Roy Lancaster, will
formally open the Show on Saturday morning. |
| As
always the heart of the show will be the exuberant
display of the competitive classes, with the
camellias, daffodils, rhododendrons and ornamental
shrubs and trees guaranteeing a brilliantly colourful
spectacle of the highest quality. With over 100 trade
stands and a programme of talks and demonstrations
there is plenty for visitors to see, do and buy. |
| The
show is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and from
10am to 4pm on Sunday. Advance tickets cost £6.50
per adult or £6 for groups of 20+. |
| They
can be purchased from the Cornish
Riviera Box Office which includes
Tourist Information Centres in Penzance, St Ives,
Truro, St Mawes, St Austell, Bodmin, Looe and
Launceston, plus ‘Bookends Too’ in Fore Street,
Fowey. You can also download and complete the Advance
Ticket Order Form. Dogs on leads
are welcome. |

Flower Show Cardiff 2013 |
|
Cardiff offers the
best in spring plants and accessories for the
start of the gardening season. The RHS celebrate
all things Welsh with many local exhibitors and
produce set among the grounds of Bute Park. A fantastic day out for all the family. |
| New
for 2013 includes the RHS Potting Bench which will be
at the heart of Floral Marquee 2. This informal
platform will be for nursery specialists to hold
short, hands-on sessions, and for visitors to chat to
growers and discover top tips. There will also be a
wheelbarrow competition involving 60 schools across
South Wales, and a craft village full of stalls with
beautiful hand-made gifts and jewellery. |
| As
the first major RHS flower show of 2013, the Cardiff
show comes at the ideal time to stock up on your
‘must-haves’ for the gardening season ahead. Trade
stands throughout the showground will offer an
enjoyable shopping experience - with everything from
fabulous furniture and unique sculpture to gardening
essentials. |

Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2013 |
| Two shows are held
each year at the Great Yorkshire Showground in
Harrogate where you can enjoy the purpose-built
event facilities as well as fully ramped and
floored marquees. Something for everyone, the show
is a great place to come and learn how to make the most of
your garden and enjoy the great outdoors. Taste some local
produce with foods from across the region, treat your garden
with some great shopping and enjoy the entertainment. |
| We are all set to grow in 2013 with twice as many beautiful new show gardens to enjoy this spring.
The show will feature a wide range of gardens from border plots to large scale features, as talented designers and landscapers from across the UK showcase their work.
